MPI104 2012 Assignment 3 Post

Throughout this course I have been exposed to varies tools, different codes and many techniques. It has given me experience in these social medias (Blogger, Delicious and Flickr), this course has taught me how to utilize these websites to their fullest capabilities. I can now write confidently small amount of coding and be confident that they will work how I expect them to. 

Blogger

My blogger has been changed and altered many times throughout this course, I have changed the fonts many times till I found the ones I thought suited best, templates and background images all feel under change as I felt the style need altering along the way. I have added and changed my gadgets, I can now see how many people have viewed my blogger and constantly be kept updated with my favourite bloggers posts. All through my blogger I have kept the same theme on posting, a movie review, a Drawing I've done and a random anime interesting image. I have done in total 36 posts.

Flickr

Flickr a great way of using or getting your images on the net. I feel this website will become a permanent feature in my life, it is easy to use and works excellently. I have uploaded many images already and still believe I will keep uploading to it, I kept a description to all my images and tagged every one of them as well. I have 3 sets with 24 photos in total

Delicious

Using delicious was a great way to organize favourite websites and your internet usage, it also allows for the locating of other websites of an interest to you. On my delicious stacks I uploaded only links that I found interesting, I made sure to give a definition on each stack and every link. I have completed 5 stacks of links with 21 links in total.

In this course we were to make a webpage using notepad and HTML codes. This task being very informative and helpful was actually enjoyable and fun to make. Even though I was unable to upload it to the internet it still was very useful assessment and learnt much from it. In this webpage I utilized CSS external and internal styling.

Review: Pokemon

Synopsis: This series follows Ash Ketchum a 10yr old kid set out on a journey to capture all existing pokemon(strange monster like creatures). Using pokeballs as a capture device to hold his pokemon. He is acompianied by a Boy "Brock" and a girl "Misty" both owning pokemon of their own.

Review: Probably the biggest Anime kid show craze ever, or at least of around the year 2000, its lame jokes and poor stry make it hard to watch, definately a kids show. But growing up in that era, it is the greatest classic show ever!! i love it still :P

Assement #2 My Webpage

Hello!! Recently I have created a website using only notepad. It was a fun experience learning bout external and internal CSS. I think I’m most proud about how I managed to work all the many links I have throughout my 13 pages. I used Pokémon as my overall theme for my webpage with my own evident twisted sense of humor. Doing this really does teach you what WebPages are really made, a great learning experience, I’ve gained so much knowledge about picture linking and what it takes to do so, so appreciative of the simple code “a href” but the most beneficial tool I used is External CSS, basically instead of changing many pages codes for one font change you can use it to manage all of it in one simple page editing style. Throughout the entire website I used external CSS except for two pages that I wanted a different type of control and used an internal CSS. For most of my pictures I sourced them from the internet and put them together in a slide show format. I used links to other pages for additional information so my website won’t be limited to only its information. Finally I would like to state how much of a great learning practice this was, the amount of coding in website and the complexity makes you really appreciate tools like CSS.


If anyone is interested in webpage coding, you can’t go past this website…..

Review: Legnd of Korra

Synopsis: The following series to Avatar: Last Air Bender, the new Avatar "Korra" story begins at the north pole, she has already ,mastered all elements except Air, she travel to the city to be taught by other Air Benders but discovers a rising hate for bender by non benders  and a war that is brewing.

Review: The first few episodes that have been released have some good story line, its just slowly building to better episodes, ep 5 being a filler episode with little happening in it. Overall not doing too bad to start off the series.

Review: Vampire Hunter D: Blood Lust

Synopsis: The sequel to the movie Vampire Hunter D, this movie follows a vampire hired to retrieve a mans daughter that was stolen from another vampire. "D" being the vampire travels after the daughter in a future like land left almost in ruins from vampire attacks.

Review: The drawing in this movie is some of the best done for an anime, clearly alot of effort went into this movie. A great storyline and adventure in this movie, one of the best anime movies I've seen.

Review: Evangelion 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone

Synopsis: This movie shows a world under attack by monsterous creatures or rather angels from heaven. Humanity have created gigantic robots controlled by selct people to fight against the attacks. One particular kid is chosen to pilot the newest version of these machines, he is in a constant battle with his life as changes take place and personal discoveries are made.

Review: A very interesting idea, angels shown as monsterous creatures. the style of the anime is great to watch, a combination of 3D elements in this 2D film. Its a great watch and leads for a sequel

For this blog i have experimented with two different backgrounds, its just recently that i choose a darker gray mid tone leafy background for my blog, I changed the colour of the text in the Title, Post title, post, and gadgets as well as their fonts to make them more interesting.

Review: Jubei Chan

Synopsis: a girl born as the reincarnation of an ancient swordman weilds the power to summon his mastery of swordmanship upon placing "the lovely eye patch" over her eye. Many villages hold a grudge against the ancients swordman for defeating their tribes best sword weilder and seek revenge against the girl reincarnation of him.

Review: The series become very childish and hard to watch because of it, some of the best fight scenes i have ever watched on an anime but other than that its realy hard to watch

Review: Death Note

Synopsis: A god of death leaves a note book with the power to kill anyone whoms name is written in it for anyone to find it. Light a straight A student in highschool stumbles apon the notebook and soon discovers it capabilities, he then uses it to eliminate criminals that have commited crimes, people he considers not fully recieved justice for their actions. "L" a world renowned crime solver takes personal interest in figuring out the cause of these sudden deaths. An all out war begins between these parties to overcome the other in a battle of wits.

Review: Incredible season and movie. The story line and action in this anime keep your interest through out the whole movie and/or season. Well illustrated Anime and overall great tv show

Eyes of an Anime

Apparently there is a special lens you can get that gives you eyes like an Anime character.............. well i just dont know what to say...... :\

Review: Claymore

Synopsis: A world infested with mosterous creatures called Yoma. The humans only defense is the hire of super human beings "Claymores" these people also called silver eyed witches, they are a hybrid of humans cross with the Yoma, created within an powerful organisation that rent the use of their Claymore soilders. The series follows one of these individuals (claymore) her name Clare, and her in pursuite of a vandetta against a Yoma that killed a close friend.

Review: One of the best Animes out there. The proportion, movement, and detail beat most Animes i have seen. The story line begans to slip half way through the season, only the first 10 episodes standout from the rest.

Rating: 8/10

Review: Elfen Lied

Synopsis: This series follows a young girl unaware of her past, she has horns and an incredible power, she can summon powerful invisible hands called vectors. She befriends a boy that soon developes a complicated relationship with a familar past of stories. An organisation that knows of her and seek to recapture her.

Review: An extremely gory series with plenty of story to keep you entertained. Her powers at first appear to be telekinesis but soon explains otherwise, personally i would have prefered that concept. It is a well drawn and figured series, some pointless nude scene, but hey thats anime for you
